MacArthur High School is thrilled to add the Robotics Club to its computer science pathway in 2025. The CodeCrafters Club has been promoting innovation and coding excellence for three years, and this new club fits in well with it. These two clubs help students learn how to program, build things, and work together to solve problems in the real world. The Robotics Club gives students more chances to learn about design, automation, and how computer science is used in the real world.

Overview The mission of your team is to design, build, assemble, and operate a robot that can pick up objects (payloads) of varying types. Navigating through/around various obstacles to gather payloads. Then place payloads into a payload drop off area on a specific target. The course is designed to test the handling, maneuverability, hardware capabilities, and driving skills of your robot.

2026 Division C Events

In this event, teams design, build, program, and test one Robotic Vehicle to navigate a track to reach a target at a set amount of time as accurately and efficiently as possible.

Maximum people to work in a project: 15 students

Maximum students to compete from each team: 2 students

Invitational Tournament Schedule
